The Library is a professional Pro Tools based recording facility in North London. Spanning two floors it has a massive client list of Rock and Indie bands and is often fully booked for months in advance.

Our support at The Library has spanned many years and upgrades. Initially the studio was based around a Pro Tools Mix + system on a dual G4 MDD machine, with a Pro Control Ethernet mixer. Here we maintained the Pro Tools system and related digital patching system and installed the many software revisions.

More recently we have upgraded the studio to a Pro Tools HD 3 system in an Intel Xeon-based Mac Pro. During this upgrade we also installed a wired Gigabit network with a RAID 5 NAS storage device for secure and reliable data storage, and, a wireless client network for Internet access.

Due to the lack of available support time it was important that our engineers completed the maintenance and upgrades in unsociable hours, around current bookings. It was also critical to keep the integrity of recorded sessions, and sensitive material confidential.
