Our Process




Discover
Design
Deliver

Our first step is to talk with you, listen to what your goals are, answer your questions, and develop a strategy and plan of action. This stage provides the foundation that will guide the project from start to finish.

Our Discovery step informs our design process where we brainstorm and develop solutions to the task. Whether it' to design a new network, server environment or client deployment, each area is carefully considered.

The final step is to present the client with our recommendations. Each area is fully costed and chronology defined. Once agreed, the project is carefully managed until completion.

Support for Schools & Charities




FatMac is proud to have developed successful partnerships with local educational and charitable institutions including performing arts and media-centric secondary schools, universities and charities.

Such organisations have a very unique set of support needs, often with less infrastructure, more mobile devices such as iPads and a greater degree of device homogony. Devices and Operating Systems generally need to be standardized for effective deployment whilst being versatile and robust enough for constant use.

FatMac are extremely experienced in providing management IT services for educational and charitable institutions from initial consultancy through to budgeting, procurement, installation and maintenance of infrastructure, hardware and software, including servers and workstations.

We currently support internationally well-known institutions including several constituent colleges of the University of London including Royal Holloway, King’s College London and Queen Mary and Westfield, as well as staff members on individual bases.

FatMac was delighted to be part of the support team that helped secure the first ever ‘Regius Professorship of Music’, awarded to the Department of Music, University of London at Royal Holloway, by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh in 2014.

Support for Individuals & Freelancers




Some of our first customers as a new company were SOHO users, either working from small or home offices, or as freelancers working in larger companies. As such, we are very confident in supporting these environments, from the smallest ‘one man band’ setups to micro and small businesses, and beyond.
